Maker Nodes 2026 brings open workshops together in one circle: FabLabs, university and professional workshops, hackerspaces, mobile labs, engineering and student communities, educational platforms and partner organizations from across Ukraine.

Our goal is to create a space for intensive interaction, to introduce people and workshops to one another, exchange practices, speak openly about shared challenges, pass experience on to younger teams and find new opportunities for collaboration.
Three days of relevant discussions and talks with plenty of hands-on, horizontal formats: short makerspace presentations, workshops, working-group discussions, shared lunches and informal networking.

Best Maker Practices Award
A contest of the best practices already working in Ukrainian workshops that can be useful to others.

We're interested in concrete solutions that can be documented, opened and replicated: community engagement models, educational formats, open-source developments, management tools, technological solutions and other practices.

Makerspaces that present the best cases will receive valuable prizes from our partners, and the selected practices we'll publish in open access.

Job Shadow
A five-day mentorship program aimed at transferring practical knowledge between maker spaces.

Through an open contest, workshops and 10 makers will be selected who will get a chance to do an internship to broaden their experience and gain additional competencies.


As part of the project, we want to build a contact database for interaction, accessible within the network. It will become a practical tool for networking and visibility: workshops will more easily find one another, partners and donors.
